South Australian Treasurer Stephen Mullighan handed down the state budget on June 6.

  • $20.7 million over five years to establish an arts investment fund
  • $20 million in 2024–25 for Small Business Energy Grants for small business and not-for-profits to reduce energy usage and invest in energy-efficient equipment. Applications are set to open in August 2024
  • $14 million over four years to expand the Business Events Fund with a focus on supporting more winter events

It's still unclear when or how this money will trickle down to not-for-profits and community groups, but we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for grant updates relevant to Funding Centre members.
