Board composition checklist

If your board can no longer provide leadership or fresh idas, or if money is becoming an issue, it may be time to spice things up. If your board has been there forever, but changes have taken place at the membership level, it may be time to make some hanges up tht etop to reflect the changing membership base and the organisation's changing priorities.

Once you've identified the tasks the board has to handle, you then have to ask whether your current board as the capacity to do them all. What gaps leap out to you? If you can reach agreement on the overview, it may make it less painful to come to cases.
